Fruit trees. Then the crash Tries to Ruin My Buzz

Fucking thing. Anyway, here is your task for me. Try to identify these fruits.
The first is that red fruit.

This next one I heard about on ABC radio. It looks like butternut pumpkin inside, has the texture of avocado, but tastes like a cross beyween banana and passionfruit NomNom!

This one is also a mystery. Almost citrus but not. These aren’t ripe yet.

Just three of the multitude of fruit trees here. These are the ones I cleaned up around today. Big job for a little mower. Poor thing. It goes hard, but takes three or four passes to really knock down this jungle. I need a kick arse ride-on, or the big slasher really. This grass is on average 70cm high and thick. But it’s worth the effort πŸ™‚
Yep, I’m crashing again I think. I know the signs. But I’m fighting it.

Tomorrow I head for the citrus. About a 40 by 30 metre area to mow. It’ll take a tank or two, but we’ll be able to get to the fruit when it ripens. I haven’t disturbed any snakes yet, but have swapped the thongs for boots & spats, just in case.
I really feel OK, but really wish she was here. She would be so into this place. Her little Eden I reckon.
Saw my first flying fox this evening. I reckon the aroma from the mowed, fallen fruit attracted it. So long as it doesn’t tell its mates about it I’ll be happy.

  1. I can’t find the red fruit – the closest I can come to it is Acerola Cherry. Give me more time for the rest – I’m exhausted after all that searching! lol

  2. Then the green one looks like a Black Sapote and the last yellow one looks like a White Sapote.
    Good night from me πŸ˜€

  3. The red one does look a little like a persimmon, but they should have leaves attached to the fruit, at the same spot where the stem attaches to the fruit. When picked, the leaves stay attached to the fruit and go brown.
