Yes, I *do* think plants and rocks and stuff are pretty cool, especially when they become subjects in my lens.

Ok, I said something special. Like miniature mesas and stuff yeah?
OK, but first a little basic science. Up here, in the Wet Season, it can rain. Like it can rain really, really heavy for a long time. Algae will grow on dirt/rock that is relatively stable. Unprotected clay soil will wash away under the downpours. But sometimes, stones or rocks will protect a section of dirt. The surrounding soil erodes, leaving pillars of dirt, crowned by a rock. The largest rock in these images is roughly a football size. The rocks supported by the clay are pretty cool:
