The New Bloomfield River Bridge – Part Six

Sorry about the delay in posting these pics. I’ve been very slack since Cyclone Ita blew through. By now, the bridgework will have been finished, with the approaches being the final job before we have an all-weather bridge at the top end of The Bloomfield Track.

I’ll rewind to May and show you the progress up to late June. The late Wet season rain has been a real hold up for these folks:

Come June, progress was made, even with some flooding rains preventing work on the project.

Between the 4th and 10th of June, more spans were added.

Then, by the 2nd of July, the main bridge construction was nearly done. I’ll be down that way this week, so I’ll take some more photos.
