Four Random Photos

I’m bored. These are Lo-Res due to the bandwidth issue. But enjoy anyway…or not.

One night, while in Brisbane, a good friend, my daughter and I went into the city to watch a show. We also wandered about Southbank late in the evening. It was quite pretty.

Visited my big Sister at Burrum Heads and saw a most beautiful sunset up the river.

The television transmission towers for Brisbane are located up on Mt Coot-Tha. For many, many years, the Four television stations had their studios up on the mountain close to the towers. As the years passed, some moved their main centres down to the city. ABC was one of them. The tower and the old entrance sign remain and signals are still transmitted from here, but it is much quieter now. A couple of the other stations maintain their activities on the hill though.

When I used to do a run up to Coen, I’d often miss a good photo opportunity. I caught (as in on camera) this Frill Necked lizard one morning on the way home. It’s not the best shot and I intend to head up the Peninsula road one weekend to hunt down some good shots of the wildlife up there.
